Pump is alarming NO FLOW IN or NO FLOW OUT.

1. Is tubing set loaded into pump properly?
|
NO: Remove tubing and reload. Close door and verify that latch mechanism holds door closed. (Try another tubing set)

YES: Proceed to next question.
|
|
2. Is tubing path from pump to patient and from formula bag to to pump clear from obstructions?
|
NO: Check entire flow path for obstructions or kinks in tubing. Correct blockage and proceed with feed cycle.
Patient could be generating back pressure, which may affect pump through feeding tube. Check pressure setting on pump. if in LOW PRES, change to HIGH PRES. (See Service Manual or contact Customer Service at (800) 970-2337)

YES: Proceed to next question.

3. Are there any visible signs of damage to pressure sensors?
|
NO: Pump may need to be returned for calibration. Pump should be calibrated annually for preventative maintenance.
|
|
YES: If the pressure sensor is damaged, it could cause NO
FLOW OUT or NO FLOW IN alarm. Return pump for calibration. Contact Customer
Service at (800) 970-2337.
