Enteral Support | EnteraLite NO FOOD Alarm

Pump is alarming NO FOOD.

1. Is bag empty?

YES: Refill bag and prime set.

NO: Proceed to next question.

2. Is there air in tubing?

YES: Manually prime tubing by squeezing bag upside down while holding Pinch Clip Occluder open. Load set into pump and resume feeding.

NO: Proceed to next question.

3. Are air bubbles trapped inside silicone pump tubing segment?

YES: Remove tubing from pump, Open Pinch Clip Occluder and squeeze silicone tubing segment to move bubbles through.

NO: Proceed to next question.

4. Is formula blenderized?

YES: Let formula stand for 10-15 minutes before pouring into bag and priming set. If there is foam in tubing, flush by holding open Pinch Clip Occluder.

NO: Proceed to next question.

5. Is air sensor region dirty?

YES: Clean sides of air sensor with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with water.

NO: IF NO FOOD alarm is still alarming, disconnect from patient and pour water into new bag. Prime set and run pump. If NO FOOD alarm does not appear, recheck pump with food and new disposable set.
